SPEEDY MINESTRONE

2 cans(14 1/2 ozs. ea.) fat-free. low-sodium chicken broth

2 cans(14 ozs ea.) diced tomatoes with Italian herbs

1 box (10 ozs) frozen green peas

1 cup elbow macaroni

2 cups thinly sliced cabbage

1 can (19oz.) cannellini beans, rinsed

1. In large sauce pan, over high heat, bring broth and tomatoes to boil.

2. Stir in peas and macaroni; simmer 7 minutes, until tender. Add cabbage
and beans;cook, stirring. 2 to 3 minutes, until cabbage wilts. Thin with
water if necessary.

Makes 6 servings
